Synopsis: After the death of his wife, John, our guilt-stricken protagonist, decides to lose himself in service. He begins to care for the widowed and elderly Mrs. Ken Schwartz, but when her condition takes a turn for the worse, the price of her care rapidly increases. With no money in sight, John looks for other methods of payment. He owns a franchise which specializes in virtual reality, and possesses a device which can capture memories. If used incorrectly, the machine can transfer, or steal a person's memories...forever. John realizes there is profit to be made with stolen memories, but how far is he willing to go in order to help another?
