His role in the show is to hold up a reality mirror to the Spellers, reminding them, and us, that life is never "fair" or easy. Visually, he should look like a street person, very now and with-it in dress and demeanor. He is older than the Spellers - late teens to 20's. The role is orginally for an African-American actor, but any ethncitity is highly encouraged to audition!
