Storyline: this is a one Act musical, music and Lyrics by Michael John LaChiusa. Book by George C. Wolfe and Michael John LaChiusa. It's based on a poem from the 1920's called the Wild Party by Joseph Moncure Marsh. ...it's about this vaudeville Chorus girl named Queenie who lives with her vaudeville clown boyfriend Burrs. They have this very volatile relationship and the 2 decide to throw an evening of debauchery and we get to meet; in quasi-Brechtian like form, their motley crew of friends. It becomes a morality play at one point...be careful what you push/wish for it might go off with a bang.
