A Prairie Christmas Carol

Rehearsals start October 12th running twice a week in 3 hours slots in the evenings.
Performances take place over the weekends starting November 21st to December 20th from 10am to 3pm.

Follow scripted and improvised scenerios telling an adaptation of Charles Dickens A Christmas Carol set in 1910 prairie Alberta.

Mr. Fizzlestick is foreclosing on the candy shop because of non-payment of a loan. Greta and her daughter Emma attempt to solicit funds for the Victorian Order of Nurses, but are rejected by the miserly Mr. Fizzlestick. Emma is fascinated with the story A Christmas Carol, which inspires her to play a few tricks on Mr. Fizzlestick in an effort to spark the memory of his past, make him face his present stance in the town and hint a little at his future direction. As Emma journeys to enlighten Mr. Fizzlestick, she recruits some of the other characters and the town to play a few tricks on him to show the error of his ways.

Readings are Friday October 9th 6:30pm to 9:30pm and Saturday October 10th 9-5pm in 20 minutes slots at Heritage Park.
